Launch of Social Housing Development at Blackcastle, Navan, Co. Meath

MHI recently attended the formal launch of a social housing development in “Mainear Caisleán Dubh”, Navan, Co. Meath.

MHI was delighted to hand-over the 26 high quality houses to its client QRD Homes for Túath Housing Association. The project, funded by Castlehaven Finance, is MHI’s third successful project for a housing association.

Along with Mr Eamon Gavigan, Tuath Housing Chairman, and those involved in the manufacturing and construction, the launch was attended by Minister Damien English TD. The Minister congratulated all those involved on providing the new social housing units.

Speaking following the launch, Stephen McManmon, Joint Managing Director of MHI, said:

“MHI was delighted to be appointed as modular housing supplier in this high profile social housing development. The 26-home development utilised 4 house types manufactured to strict quality standards in our controlled factory environment before being completed on site. The finished houses are testament to our experienced team of staff, subcontractors and consultants and our close working relationship with Tuath and Meath County Council.”

All 26 houses within the development are now occupied by tenants from the Council’s housing list.
