Official Opening of Castleguard Manor, Ardee, Co. Louth

MHI attended the recent official opening of Castleguard Manor, Ardee, Co. Louth. This project is one of four developments that MHI has worked on with Tuath to date.

The impressive estate in Ardee consists of 102 A-rated, energy efficient family homes manufactured in rapid time at MHI’s state of the art facility in Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan before being transported to site for installation.

Housing Minister, Eoghan Murphy, attended the launch along with representatives from key stakeholders and residents.

The homes are all let to tenants from the Council’s housing list.

Speaking after the launch, Stephen McManmon, Joint Managing Director of MHI commented:

“This project highlights our strong working relationship with Tuath Housing Association, QRD Homes, Castlehaven Finance and Louth County Council. Throughout the project, we worked closely with Tuath to adapt some of the properties to cater for older people and people with disabilities.

We are proud to have been involved in this project completing the manufacturing and installation of 102 houses in just over 12 months.”
